Tonight beginning at 8:00pm, Brooklyn’s Ava Luna release their debut full length Lp most likely called “3rd Avenue Island”. I’ve posted about Ava Luna in the past, singing praises about their electronic, girl group funk with Jonathan Richmanesq lead vocals and told you that you should most likely see them play if you wanted any idea of who was going to be on all the next big thing lists in the year to follow. Now, with a debut CD on the horizon, the time is better than ever. Catch them before other people catch you not knowing who they are. I’ll have pictures up from the show come tomorrow. Also, Yeasayer plays for free tonight at the Hudson River park at 6:00pm. That one is free, so all in all you could go to both and pay about ten bucks total….
