The release of the new fiction anthology COOL THING: BEST NEW GAY FICTION is exciting on so many levels, a very early edition of a novel I am working on makes a debut public appearance in the book and I like all the work that other authors opted to display, so I’m allowing myself to freak out in my room and listen to Dinosaur L “Go Bang!” and be self indulgent, celebrate:
All the authors involved in the project inspired by Sonic Youth’s track “Kool Thing” co-author a blog named after the anthology and song, check it out!

I’d feel really ashamed of myself if I was to write a glowing review of the book because I am in it and biased. But you should read it and email me your opinions/reviews please ; )
Anyway, if you want to buy it, you should get it from Powell’s books or any other local independent book store and if your local store doesn’t carry it just ask them to order a copy, keep independent voices alive!!
On a side note, since this post is really self indulgent, here is me protesting marriage at the rally in SF last night. Let’s fucking dismantle all marriage and end the religious tyranny that is projectile vomiting on all of our rights to a good time. No marriage! Yes circle jerks! Yes freedom! Yes massive mixed sex orgies!
